Background:It is estimated that Japan's workforce is decreasing and the gap between supply and demand for IT personnel will grow to about 790,000 by 2030. Since 2003, we have been actively recruiting engineers in the ASEAN region, mainly in China, Korea and Vietnam, ahead of our competitors. Particularly in China and Korea, in cooperation with local school corporations, we have prepared original curricula, focusing on Japanese language, Japanese manufacturing, business manners, and technology to educate them, and they have been employed by many Japanese manufacturers and IT companies.
